Back in 2010, at the beginning of the modern food truck movement, high school friends Evan Kidera and Gil Payumo saw a unique opportunity to introduce a Filipino party favorite, sisig, to San Francisco. With Gil’s culinary chops and family recipe plus Evan’s MBA, the duo brought Senor Sisig into the universe and, with it, a new appreciation for street food to the Bay Area. Now, they run the streets with their adaptations of the traditional dish, slinging sisig into burritos, tacos, nachos, loaded fries, and more.
